What to expect from our Flavors of Mexico Food Tour
Indulge in a delicious selection of 7 local dishes and 3 refreshing Mexican Cocktails local restaurants that have defined Mexican gastronomy in Cancun. In the early years, Downtown Cancun’s easy access to local markets full of fresh meats, ingredients, condiments and fruits made it a target for local restaurant owners with knowledge from secrets and recipes from other parts of Mexico to open their doors.
Downtown Cancun has been transformed in several ways in the last few years. After struggling a bit earlier to attract tourism and even locals, Cancun’s central neighborhood has been repurposed with a new plan that included the opening of several hotels, hostels and restaurants that reactivated the once glorious activity of the beginnings of Cancun. When taking our food tour, you will be tasting a piece of Cancun’s history & culture on each bite & sip. Our tour starts with a comfortable hotel pick up. You will be greeted by our guide who will be the one in charge of sharing all the details & information about each dish, drink and every restaurant on the tour.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we offer hotel pick-up and drop off on air conditioned vans. For your total comfort the transfers between the different places we visit, are also included.
Plans have changed? Reschedule or cancel with no cost, just let us know at least 12 hours in advance. Unfortunately, if the tour is canceled after that 12-hour mark, this will be considered a No-Show and no refund will be provided.
Yes, all of our tours are family-friendly. Our tours are recommended for +6 years old kids, however all ages are welcome.
Yes, we consider all dietery preferences and restrictions (allergies, ect). After completing your booking you’ll be asked about your needs, and all menus are adapted accordingly.
All of our tours are designed and tested to provide a complete meal for an average adult. Most participants will feel full after our combination of drinks & food tastings along with breaks and introductions from our tour guide. Our guide will make sure everyone is full before finishing the tour!
